What is a CSA?
Community Supported Agriculture (or CSA) is a partnership between farmers and eaters that begins long before the first flower blooms or vegetable ripens. When you join our farm for the year and begin to pay for your harvest share we use your membership dollars to buy seeds, seed starting supplies, compost, tools, and more. Then during late winter we begin to start seedlings & sow seeds that will become the vegetables and flowers of this year’s farm. Your harvest share membership is an investment in our farm and allows us to buy what we need to grow the healthiest, highest quality produce, flowers, and eggs.
Each year on a farm some things will do better than others. If a hailstorm or a pest damages the leafy greens then you might not have them in your share that week. But if we have an amazing crop of tomatoes or peppers then you’ll be taking home the surplus. The CSA is our primary customer and what we grow is yours! 2026 will be our 7th CSA and our track record of growing a wide variety of vegetables means your weekly harvest share will be diverse and bountiful.
Our CSA is the backbone of our farm and we consider all of our members part of the farm family. We look forward to spending the growing season with you and we’re honored to help feed your families. Thanks to all of you who have helped us live our farming dream.
What we grow
Farmer Mark grew up spending many hours weeding the family garden. It was a chore then but has become a passion. I get my hour of power weeding every morning. Once you’ve had a just picked early season pea or green bean there is no going back. We love vegetables and we grow what we love to eat. Since almost all our vegetables are hand harvested the day of pickup we offer everything we grow in its highest state of quality, freshness, and flavor.
Each year we grow over 30 individual vegetable crops from arugula to zucchini. By the end of the season we’ll grow more than 75 varieties all together (this happens because we grow more than one variety of most crops). The best part is that all of this diversity ends up as a variety of colors & flavors on your plate!

How it Works
Wolf Creek Fresh is now accepting harvest share members for the 2026 growing season. This year will be our fifth season- huge thanks to everyone who has supported our farm dream! Every year so far we’ve sold out of harvest shares by mid-Spring. So, if you’re interested please don’t wait to sign up. If you have questions or need more information please get in touch.
Our aim is to provide our community with the highest quality, local, organic vegetables, fruits, and eggs. By joining our farm this year as a harvest share CSA member, for 14 weeks, you will pick up the freshest, best tasting, regeneratively grown, local produce for you and your family. You can expect 6 to 8 varieties of diverse seasonal vegetables, herbs, salad greens, and (later in the season) fruit from our farm. A full share will easily feed a family of 4-6, a 1/2 share will cover 2+ people. As a share member, you will shop in a farm stand setting and take what you will eat that week. Everything is hand-tended on our farm in Strasburg, free of toxic pesticides, just the way you would raise produce for yourself.
The 2026 summer CSA season will begin on Saturday, June 20th and continue through October 3rd. The cost is $500 (or $39 per week). A half share is $250 for the season (or $20 per week).

In addition to all of these amazing crops, we also offer free range eggs out of the sweetest hens you might want to pet! (And one ornery rooster, who does a good job of watching over the ladies.)
Shares are picked up in Strasburg at Saturday's farm stand from 10 AM to 11:30 AM.
We have several payment options, including a limited number of Participation Shares (Saturday mornings harvesting and working the farm stand gets you a full share of yummy produce!). There are only 50 shares available for the 2025 season, and they are going fast!
We hope you'll make Wolf Creek Fresh and the Larsen family YOUR FARMERS!
