This spring we added 52 new chicks to our farm as the other hens were getting a bit too old. As it turns out one of the new chicks was so excited about the farmers market that it hitched a ride on the undercarriage of the truck and rode about 12 miles under the truck so that it could greet all of you!!! Zucchini is great in the spring! Later in August when you are overloaded by your neighbors zucchini plants it is overwhelming. Our zucchini is greenhouse raised early in the year so you can enjoy it early.
