Chicken goes to market....

This spring we added 52 new chicks to our farm as the other hens were getting a bit too old. As it turns out one of the new chicks was so excited about the farmers market that it hitched a ride on the undercarriage of the truck and rode about 12 miles under the truck so that it could greet all of you!!! Katie took the hen shopping for chick food after the market and she was loved by all. One of our market friends named the chicken "Danger Gold".

Scallions are now ready and we will have them for you at the market. Kohlrabi is ready to try new recipes take a look at this site for great ways to prepare it.
