Week 9: Greenhouse construction begins!

New Passive insulated greenhouse begins...

We are excited to get the new greenhouse up so that we can extend our season into spring and fall. This will give us the ability to grow more sensitive vegetables like tomatoes, cucumbers and peppers. I'll keep you posted for a volunteer day to put the plastic covering up. It takes a small army to put it up with our Strasburg wind.

This weeks offerings are:

• Summer squash

• Parsley

• Lemon Balm

• Pac Choi

• Radish

• Kohlrabi

• Tatsoi

Limited quantities of the following. (first come first serve)

• Spinach

• Celery

• Collard Greens

• Cucumber

• Rhubarb

We have eggs again from Palmer Kent Farm.
