Spring and summer bring a lot of work to the farm, with so much to accomplish and so little time. We are eager to see the transformations on the farm and the benefits they will bring us all. As you'll notice below, we now have row covers to protect against grasshoppers and hail, ensuring we can supply produce throughout the season. While we can't cover everything, we will protect the most sensitive crops. We are also installing a windbreak to shield the garden from the strong winds we experience. Lastly, we have received a greenhouse to further extend our growing season.

Garden emergence....
Your garden is beginning to show its love of sunshine and water. We have so many vegetables, both in the garden and in the greenhouse, waiting to grow for you!

The soil must be prepared to cultivate all the tasty local food you are anticipating.
Wind Break Planting: We have established a mile and a quarter of windbreaks to help mitigate the winds on the eastern plains of Colorado. Although it will take years for the 640 trees to mature, we eagerly anticipate the beauty they will bring.
Unloading a unique greenhouse custom-built for Wolf Creek Fresh. This will enable us to offer fresh local vegetables for you 10 months of the year!
