Well, Hail Yes! we have August hail in Colorado... Our farm community has suffered a blow to our produce. We have been through this before and some of the plants will recover after 2-3 weeks. The Carrots & Beets are protected in the ground and some of our greens were under row cover and were protected from the hail. We have harvested the squash and we will have that for you as well. It has hail damage and will need to be consumed sooner rather than later.
It is not the end of the world even though we had the 3 horseman of the apocalypses come through Wind, Rain & Hail. Great news not snow! This will delay much of our harvest. Stay tuned we'll enjoy what ever the good Lord provides!.
This week we are please to have;
Carrots
Zucchini
Summer Squash
Romaine Lettuce
Beets
Chard
We look forward to seeing you on Saturday after the parade 11:30-12:30 am in front of The Gift Shop. Timing and access is somewhat up in the air. Please text or call if you can’t make it and we would like us to hold your share aside.
